Amid a global environment marked by heightened uncertainty, the Taiflex Group remains firmly confident in the potential of the Greater China market. With this belief, the Group is committed to developing Rudong Fuzhan Scientific Co., Ltd. (“Rudong Fuzhan Scientific”) into a key operational base in the region.Following the groundbreaking on December 20, 2022, Rudong Fuzhan Scientific has, over the course of nearly two years, successfully completed the construction of an integrated office building in full compliance with two-star green building standards. The design prioritizes energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, noise reduction, and structural resilience—reflecting the Taiflex Group’s steadfast and ongoing commitment to ESG principles.
This project stands as a model of tripartite collaboration, made possible through the strong support of the local government, the professionalism of our construction partners, and the unwavering efforts of the Fuzhan team. Together, they have laid a firm cornerstone for the Group’s presence in the region. The building officially commenced operations on April 19, 2025.
Taiflex Group extends its sincere appreciation to local government officials, suppliers, and customers for their participation and support in this important milestone, and proudly hosted a distinctive and memorable opening ceremony to mark the occasion.
In addition to this two-star green building, Rudong Fuzhan Scientific continues to invest in renewable energy as part of its long-term commitment to clean energy.
In August 2024, the Company completed installation of a 360 kW solar power system, which has since generated a cumulative total of 300,000 kWh and reduced CO₂ emissions by 170 metric tons.
At today’s inauguration ceremony, Rudong Fuzhan Scientific announced a further investment in a 730 kW solar power system. Once operational, the system is projected to generate 900,000 kWh of electricity annually, leading to an additional reduction of 500 metric tons of CO₂ emissions each year.Looking ahead, Rudong Fuzhan Scientific plans to continue expanding its renewable energy infrastructure, targeting a total installed capacity of 2,000 kW. This would result in an annual electricity output of 2.5 million kWh and an estimated reduction of 1,500 metric tons of CO₂ emissions.Today’s inauguration marks not only a significant milestone in the Taiflex Group’s development journey, but also a new beginning—underscoring our continued commitment to progress and sustainable development.We hope that this modern, two-star green building will provide our employees with a more comfortable and productive work environment, while also laying a solid foundation for the Taiflex Group’s pursuit of even greater aspirations in the years to come.
