Chairman Sun Ta-Wen of Taiflex Scientific Co., Ltd. places strong emphasis on corporate social responsibility and is committed to promoting the sound development of children and youth. More than a decade ago, he initiated the establishment of the Hongxin Club together with dedicated employees as a platform for public welfare. Building upon this foundation, the Hongxin Association for Child and Youth Care was formally founded in 2012. Over the years, the Association has actively collaborated with both public and private sectors to sponsor and organize various charitable initiatives, supporting disadvantaged communities and broadening the horizons of children and adolescents.
In light of rapid technological advancement and social transformation, Chairman Sun and his wife have profoundly recognized the vital role of education—particularly the significance of language proficiency and self-directed learning in shaping the future of the next generation. In 2025, with the endowment of the Board of Directors of Taiflex Scientific Co., Ltd. Taiflex Education Foundation was officially established. Upholding the belief that “Education transforms destiny,” the Foundation is dedicated to encouraging parents to prioritize their children's education and to creating new opportunities that empower the next generation to thrive.

The Taiflex “Rainbow Bear” is usually seen wearing a helmet, bodysuit, and cape—charging forward with the courage and spirit of a superhero. This represents the determination of every employee who gives their very best at work. Yet, beyond the hard work and ambition, we all carry a warm and tender side. When Rainbow Bear sets aside the gear, the sharp and heroic image softens, revealing a loving parent full of care. With a heart devoted to family and community, Rainbow Bear becomes the gentle and lovable companion who brings joy and support to those around them.
Without the helmet, Rainbow Bear wears a TAIFLEX logo T-shirt with a smiling sun on the upper right—symbolizing the Taiflex Education Foundation, which gently cares for children with warmth, just like the sun. With arms raised to form a heart, Rainbow Bear represents the spirit of sharing love. We hope that, with the Foundation’s support and companionship, children will grow with gratitude, learn to give back, and become joyful little “bearers of love” who pass kindness forward.
